Have you ever thought about what your basic philosophy is in terms of how you go about your daily life? I mean are you perfectly willing to take of the abundance that is out there and do something good with it; or are you the kind that would rather create the abundance, recognizing that the source of abundance comes from God, the Master Creator? There is nothing wrong with either of these two choices, but I think that people generally fall in one or the other. Having said that, I do believe that people can change and often try to change between the two.  A good example is someone who works as an employee, yet breaks out of the box to create a business and even create jobs for others. And then the reverse is true when perhaps someone who is self-employed has to go back to work for someone else in order to make ends meet. Hey, wait a minute this scenario has described me at various times in my career! And just to be sure you understand me correctly, there are employed people who are creator types that excel wonderfully in their jobs. So it doesn’t matter if you are are an employee or self-employed.

But seriously, which is it? Are you a taker? Or are you a Creator? It is important to know, because once you know what you really believe in then you will be more able to handle the frustration when success does not come knocking at your door as you may have expected it to.

What I have learned is that you cannot change anyone to be one or the other. I believe people can change and should be willing to change, but they can only do it for themselves on their terms or it won’t happen. Most people marketing on the internet want to be creators, I believe, that is to create some of their own wealth. But are they and are you really marketing to the takers?  Trust me, that could be a mistake. I have hundreds of people signed up in free programs and generally the result is just that-nothing ventured, nothing gained. But if you appeal to the “creator” side, and again I believe most internet marketers want to be “creators”, then I think that many of those free signups will become paid upgrades.

How do you appeal to the creator side? By using positive descriptive  words like, freedom, wealth, independence, work from home, fire your boss, be your own boss, etc.

When you use words like “free, no sponsoring required,” guess who you are appealing to? That’s right, you get the point! There are some good free offers, but use the term “test-drive” and you will appeal to the right persons that way and get better results.
